I cut up and froze 2 flats of strawberries this weekend. AND we did tons of weeding and filled in the remaining flower beds with barkdust. No flowers or plants in them yet, though, as barkdust is infinitely easier to take care of. You don't even have to water it!

Your low-maintenance attitude rocks. Speaking of rocks, I'm now ispired to one day own a house with some in place of what would normally be lawn. Flora is not neat, it's not tidy, it's not predictable. Barkdust is, but rocks even moreso (they don't fade and wilt away, as barkdust does after a few decades).
Again speaking of rocks, is the bocce ball court set up out back of your guys' place yet? Or is that out in the cornfield across the street? That was corn right? Knee-high by fourth of July? ...
YOu guys are on a blogging spree! Impressive.
